Putting Missions on the Map

Mike Dey from SIM USA recently sent out an email update to supporters who are sending him and his 15-year-old son Seth to Ethiopia for a short-term trip to serve at SIM’s Camp Langano ministry. His email update included this fun bit:
Do you use Google Earth? If so, check out these coordinates: 7 31 21.95 North latitude and 38 46 15.68 East longitude. If you zoom in close enough, you should be able to make out a little bridge across a small river. When you cross that bridge heading east, you enter Camp Langano. Continuing east on that little dirt road about 500 feet, you’ll see 4 small buildings. Go another 1,250 feet southeast and you’ll find about 7 more buildings. 1,500 feet north of those buildings are some cleared fields. This is where Seth and I will spend one week in August: helping at Camp Langano. … You can find Camp Langano using Google Maps too if you look patiently.
As Mike told me when I talked to him about this idea, Google Earth has really brought “alive” for his supporters the reality of where he and Seth will be going. What other missionaries/ministries/projects can you bring alive by “putting them on the map” (so to speak)?
