For a while now, I’ve been promising a blog series on Shane Hipps’ book The Hidden Power of Electronic Culture. I feel the time for that is drawing nearer and nearer … (Does that sound non-commital enough for you?) Anyway, Shane was in New York this week speaking at the Q Conference, and DJ Chuang was able to liveblog some of his comments via Twitter (remember: read from the bottom up and this will make much more sense):
And this quote from Os Guinness—also from Q, also posted by DJ via Twitter—relates directly to mission and communication, and, frankly, it is devastating, but we really need to ponder it and work out what this looks like (here’s one example of what this might look like):
