I’ve read about the spread of mobile phones in Africa, but this is the first time I’ve seen a real “village phone” station in action! This video was produced by a Dutch video journalist named Ruud Elmendorp.

BTW — Elmendorp is also one of the few people to have recorded a video interview with Uganda’s rebel leader Joseph Kony!
